IV&V

IT environments are the backbone to every element of mission and organizational success and sometimes the sole fault of faltering success. IV&V helps to mitigate risk for organizational stakeholders because of the quality assurance aspect and its extension of both program management and IT functions.

Binary understands how IT environments support and influence organizational missions, strategy, leadership and the overall culture. With that understanding, we take a holistic view and redefine IV&V in the context of our customers' very specific needs. Structure, systems, management practices, and organizational climate are transformed to impact and improve performance. Risks are defined, accounted for and mitigated with keen oversight and advanced planning.

We use our SAGE Methodology as the foundation in each of our IV&V service engagements which positions us to see the multifaceted picture of an organization and its mission — enabling us to both develop organizational IV&V strategies and execute IV&V strategies using a collaborative, phased-in, enterprise-wide approach. Binary has the ability to recommend high-level governance, obtain buy-in from senior leadership, and facilitate execution.

Binary has assisted the Department of Defense's Product Manager Joint - Automatic Identification Technology (PM J-AIT) and Department Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Head Start Program to establish and maintain enterprise IV&V functions. Binary's unique approach to providing IV&V to customers focuses on relevant past performance, strong program management, and experienced and dedicated people in the functional areas of IV&V.
